How to read a COA without guessing
A practical guide to checking batch identifiers, document dates, lab names, and result notes before comparing catalog items.
Start with the batch identity
A certificate or lab document is only useful when it clearly matches the batch shown on the product page. Compare the batch ID, product name, and document date before relying on any result.
If a public document is not attached yet, the catalog should say so plainly. A missing document should never be presented as a verified result.
Check the document source
Look for the lab name, tested date, document notes, and any obvious mismatch between the PDF or image and the product record.
A clean catalog experience should make the source document easy to open, but it should not overstate what the document proves.
Read notes before making comparisons
Document notes can clarify whether a record is pending, partial, historical, or attached for traceability only. Treat vague or missing notes as a reason to ask support before ordering.
